Environmental Health & Safety is responsible under University Policy 5601 (Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety) for establishing safety and compliance programs and procedures that address environmental, occupational health, fire protection, and safety regulations and mandates. EH&S is also empowered by University Policy 5602 (Safety Rules Enforcement) to ensure that all University operations are in a good state of compliance with applicable regulations and rules.
Our fundamental mission is to promote a safe living, learning, and working environment through the integration of programs and services that we provide to students, staff, and faculty.
