How to Reserve a Vehicle:

Please email transportation@longwood.edu to request a vehicle. Include (1) what type of vehicle is needed, (2) what day/s it will be used, and (3) who the driver will be. You will receive an email response letting you know if one is available. Once the vehicle is confirmed, a copy of the driver’s RTA is required before the travel date. All drivers with a Virginia license must have a DMV release form on file confirming a valid driver’s license. (If you have an out-of-state license, you must provide a copy of your current driving record)

**If you are reserving a 12-14 passenger bus and need a driver, please let us know when the reservation is made.

Rate Chart for Vehicle Use

Vehicle fees for cars, vans, 12-14 passenger buses and the Motor Coach are based on mileage vs daily rate, whichever is greater. The 24 passenger bus is a daily rate of $200 plus mileage.
