This year’s Rev. L. Francis Griffin Lecture will feature Tucker-Boatwright Professor of the Humanities and President Emeritus at the University of Richmond, Dr. Edward “Ed” Ayers. The Griffin Lecture will take place on October 2nd, at 7:00pm inside the Moton Museum. Dr. Ayers will discuss the use of religious freedom in the emancipation of enslaved persons in the United States. Free and open to the public.
