March 23, 2026 – The Call Me MISTER (CMM) Program at Longwood University hosted nearly 50 students and family members during the 3rd Annual MISTER Experience, an on‑campus experience designed to introduce prospective students to the Call Me MISTER program and college life at Longwood.

Throughout the day, MISTERs led guided campus tours, facilitated interactive breakout sessions, and shared personal reflections on their academic and leadership journeys in the Call Me MISTER Program. Participants gained insight into the program’s mission, support structures, and expectations, while also learning about pathways into the teaching profession.

The event also featured a student involvement fair, welcoming representatives from the University of Mary Washington, the University of Lynchburg, and seven additional student clubs and organizations, offering attendees a comprehensive look at campus engagement opportunities and support networks.

The MISTER Experience continues to serve as a powerful recruitment and engagement opportunity for prospective students and families, reinforcing Longwood University’s commitment to access, mentorship, and the intentional preparation of future educators.
