Intro text

The Office of Development is a department under the Division of Institutional Advancement. Longwood's Office of Development communicates the needs of the University, solicits philanthropic engagement and support, promotes trust and goodwill between stakeholders and leads the expansion of private funding to benefit the entire Longwood community.

In short, we develop meaningful relationships and share the University's treasured, compelling story with those who care about the alma mater.

There are a number of ways to support the University—from gifts to the Longwood Fund to endowed scholarships, operating gifts, and more—each allowing Longwood's leadership, faculty, and staff to achieve our daily mission of cultivating citizen leaders who are ready to lead and change the world.
