Wendy Snow is a Professor of Reading, Literacy, and Learning (RLL) in the Department of Education and Counseling. She regularly teaches RLL courses in Emergent and Early Literacy, Literacy Research, Word Knowledge Development, and Dyslexia. Dr. Snow has a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a master's degree in Teaching (PreK-8), and a Ph.D. in Reading Education, each from the University of Virginia. 

Dr. Snow has over fifteen years of public school teaching experience including serving as a classroom elementary and middle school teacher, reading specialist, and special education teacher. She also served as a university reading clinic supervisor and as Director of the RLL program. Her research interests include early literacy, dyslexia, and rural education.
