Graduate students are an essential part of our university community, and we are excited to show our appreciation during Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW), April 7-11, 2025! Hosted by the College of Graduate & Professional Studies (CGPS) and the Graduate Student Association (GSA), this week is packed with events, giveaways, and exclusive discounts to recognize the hard work and dedication of our graduate students, both online and in-person!

Tuesday, April 8
Baseball Game | 5:00 PM | Longwood Baseball Field
Join us at the Longwood Baseball Field as graduate students receive special recognition, along with swag and goodies to celebrate their contributions to the university.
Can’t make it in person? You can still participate! Take a picture in your Longwood merch, post it on your Instagram story, and tag @LongwoodGSA by midnight for a chance to win swag. Winners will be notified the following week!
Wednesday, April 9

Enjoy a night out with fellow grad students at 3 Roads Brewery! Attendees will receive discounted drink tokens, and we’ll be hosting multiple raffles and giveaways throughout the evening. Stick around after 7:00 PM for Bingo Night if you want to keep the fun going!

Take a break from your busy schedule and join us for a guided meditation session to help you relax and recharge.
We’ll also be delivering self-care drop-offs to in-person graduate students, so keep an eye out for a little something to brighten your day!
