Remote Access Standards
Non-University Owned Computing Device
Individuals remotely accessing university IT resources and systems from non-university owned computing devices may use:
- Publically available web-based applications
- Web-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) with two-factor authentication via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)
- WebEx service
University Owned Computing Device
Individuals remotely accessing university IT resources and systems from university owned computing devices may use:
- Publically available web-based applications
- VPN technology installed on the device with two-factor authentication
- WebEx service
