Security Awareness Training Enforcement

Employees

  1. Area Vice Presidents will be notified of users who have yet to complete the training no later than October 15.
  2. User's access will be suspended on October 31 (or within 3 business days) until the training is completed.
  3. The user will be responsible for notifying Information Technology Services (ITS) of training completion so that re-enabling of access may be scheduled.  Access will not be re-enabled immediately.

Retirees

  1. Retiree's access will be suspended on October 31 (or within 3 business days) until the training is completed.
  2. The retiree will be responsible for notifying Information Technology Services (ITS) of training completion so that re-enabling of access may be scheduled.  Access will not be re-enabled immediately.

Exception (Not-Longwood Affiliated) Users

  1. Sponsors will be notified of users who have yet to complete the training no later than October 15.
  2. User's access will be removed on October 31 (or within 3 business days). A new IT Resources and Systems Access Request Form (Exception) must be completed for the user to regain access.
