The library is always in the process of improving our collections so that we support current research and curricular needs, and that we offer “adequate and appropriate library and learning/information resources” (SACSCOC, Standard 11.1).
Thank you for working with us as we continue our Collection Review process. This Spring’s list of items under review has been finalized and we are now entering the period of faculty feedback.
You may find the full list of titles under review at this link. The list is available both as an embedded Excel spreadsheet and as a linked Google Sheet. The print materials on this list were added to the collection more than 5 years ago, were published more than 20 years ago, and have not circulated in at least 10 years.
Please work with your department to identify items that should be retained in our collection due to their importance to your field, your current research, or your current instruction practices. If, after reviewing the list, you have titles you would like to examine in person, please reach out to your liaison librarian.
We are asking all departments to complete their review of the lists by Friday, March 15th.
As always, please reach out to your liaison librarian if you have questions.
