It’s Self Improvement Month! Did you know that the Greenwood Library has multiple resources for both professional and personal development? Below are some featured resources:

Learn new things through our Kanopy Streaming Media Collection. Check out the “Great Courses” collection or browse the “instructional films and videos” subject.

Study for a big test or brush up on concepts with Learning Express Library. From math skills to studying for the NCLEX- RN, GRE, or LSAT, there are practice questions for you and your students.

Stay up to date on current events and hot topics with New York Times, Washington Post, and CQ Researcher.

Learn the why behind your behaviors with Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection.

Understand the importance of movement and exercise in Sports Medicine and Education Index.

Take a break from research, and read for fun. The library has a substantial print collection as well as access to popular audiobooks through Overdrive and ebooks through various collections.

See the library's Database & Resources A-Z list for all of our databases including more on topics of self-improvement. If you have any questions about these or other library resources, please contact your liaison librarian or call the Desk at 434-395-2433.

September is also Library Card Sign Up Month. As faculty, your Lancer Card is your library card, but community members may also sign up for cards at Greenwood Library. We also have a display in the atrium this month featuring applications from local libraries.

September 15th- October 15th is also Hispanic Heritage Month.
