Native-American books in the Greenwood Library display case.

For Native-American Heritage Month, the Greenwood Library has special displays of books. The atrium features a selection of Native-American fiction and history set atop the bookcases, and the display case near the front doors has books and photos of Virginia’s Native American tribes.  In addition, the Children’s Literature Room face-out bookcase holds children’s and YA books with Native-American themes.

Research Services Librarian Natalie Browning has put together a unique and helpful research guide specifically on Native-American topics.  These are available for faculty and students on the Greenwood Library website: http://libguides.longwood.edu/c.php?g=716414.

Many thanks to Marketing and Outreach librarian Vicki Palmer and Research Services librarians Sarah Reynolds and Natalie Browning.
