Longwood University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program prepares nurses that are citizen leaders. Grounded in student community service and citizen leadership your involvement with the community and service -learning is woven throughout the curriculum and your patient and professional advocacy experiences with local, state and national nursing events and organizations.

Longwood University's Nursing Program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and State Council of Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV). The BSN program includes the essential content recommended by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, and our baccalaureate program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Our academics, laboratory and clinical work are integral components of the BSN program. The blend of classroom theory, and applied simulated and hands-on clinical experiences will introduce you to the real world of healthcare and you'll learn
