Who do I contact with Banner support questions?

All technology support requests should be directed to User Support Services. You can submit a work order online at http://help.longwood.edu/user (on campus only), send an email to helpdesk@longwood.edu, or contact us by phone from 7:45 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday -  Friday by calling (434) 395-4357 (HELP).

Where can I find documentation for Banner ADMIN?

New Banner Navigation guides and How To documents can be found in the Forms & Documents section.  A video on navigation can be found on the Banner Upgrade Information page.

Why do I see a link to Banner INB and Banner ADMIN on the Solomon Lancer Dashboard?

Until all modules of Banner have been upgraded and all departments have converted, Banner INB will still be used.  Our configuration allows us to run both versions of Banner simultaneously.  Our goal is to have the upgrade complete by December 2018 at which time the Banner INB link will be removed.

What browser can I use for Banner ADMIN?

The recommended browser for Banner 9 is Chrome, however, you may use other browsers.  If you use pages from multiple modules and one module has not been upgraded, please use IE or Firefox so the Application Navigator can seamlessly navigate between the modules.  *Remember Chrome is not an option for Banner INB.

Why aren't my keyboard board shortcuts working in Banner ADMIN?

Since Banner 9 runs in a web browser, some keyboard shortcuts had to be changed while others no longer work. A list of Banner Keyboard Shortcuts is available.
