As part of the Spring Student Showcase, we are presenting students with the Longwood Excellence in Research and Inquiry Award. This award recognizes students who went above and beyond in their pursuit of research and inquiry by having one or more of the following accomplishments:
· Publication in an external peer reviewed journal;
· Presentation or performance at a conference outside of Longwood;
· Completion of a Senior Honors Research project;
· Publication in INCITE Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship.
We are pleased to recognize their accomplishments with a ceremony at 2:00 P.M. via ZOOM on Wednesday April 22, 2020. Information to join the ZOOM broadcast is at the bottom of this message.
Following remarks from Dr. Roger Byrne, Dean of the Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences, we will announce the winners of the INCITE awards. If you are unable to be there for the live ceremony, we will record it and post on Digital Commons later in the day. An awards program, listing all award winners, will be posted on Digital Commons as well.
