Please join us for the Spring Student Showcase for Research and Creative Inquiry on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

We have an exciting set of in-person events planned starting at 9:00am, with over 475 presentations by undergraduate students scheduled on April 22.

The day is organized like a conference, with hour-long poster sessions occurring in the Blackwell Ballroom all day (9:30-5:30), and concurrent oral presentation sessions occurring in classrooms in Rotunda and Bedford (9:30-5:30). There also will be theater performances in the CSTAC Lab Theater, music performances in Molnar Recital Hall, and the Junior Art Show and Award Ceremony in the Bedford Atrium.

This year's Keynote Address will be given by Ms. Elizabeth Kostelny ‘81, Recipient of Longwood University’s Distinguished Professional Achievement Alumni Award, Former CEO of Preservation Virginia, at 1:00pm in the Martinelli Board Room in Maugans. The Longwood Excellence in Research and Creative Inquiry and Incite Award Ceremony will occur after the Keynote Address.

As part of the QEP, we are also offering the following Career Development Workshops during the Student Showcase. These workshops are open to all students (students do not need to present at the Student Showcase to attend these career development opportunities).
