Longwood University Theatre is proud to announce auditions for A Masterpiece of Comic...Timing! by Robert Caisley on Sunday, October 7th at 6 pm in the Comm Studies and Theatre Arts Center (CSTAC) Lab Theatre. This student-produced Main Stage production is directed by Jordan Stroud.

Audition date: October 7th 6 pm CSTAC Lab Theatre (Callbacks will happen on the same night)

Performance Dates: February 20-24, 2019. 

Auditions are cold readings from the script (No prepared monologue necessary), with the focus on pace, timing, and chemistry between actors. 

Students interested in technical positions should bring a resume and fill out the tech sign-up form at that time as well.

CHARACTERS:

Cobb: a Broadway producer prone to perspiration, foul moods, and cardiac arrest. 

Charlie: his eager assistant, essentially there to make sure Cobb doesn't have a heart attack.

Danny "Nebraska" Jones: a neurotic writer, fresh off of his first big hit.

Nola Hart: A femme fatale with an impressive resume, aspiring to always be cast as the ingénue. Also Danny's ex.
