We’re happy to announce the dates for our 2023 Alumni Weekend celebration, which this year has been planned to take advantage of the opening of one of the most highly anticipated new buildings on campus, the Joan Perry Brock Center. During Alumni Weekend, the Lancers will play their first-ever basketball game in the new arena, opening it in style with all the energy and enthusiasm that has become the hallmark of Longwood basketball.
Because of the significance of the game and arena opening, we are infusing Alumni Weekend with a Homecoming spirit for a joint celebration that will capture the camaraderie and joy of Alumni Weekend and pair it with the energy and beauty of Longwood in the fall.
This year’s Homecoming & Alumni Weekend celebration will be held Nov. 10-12, 2023.
The celebration will also include many of your favorite Alumni Weekend activities, from live entertainment to affinity celebrations.
We’ve launched a site at go.longwood.edu/homecoming with some general information and FAQs. More details and registration information will be shared in the coming months.
