The Baliles Center provides the perfect setting for studying the environment and critical sustainability issues. The property features hundreds of acres of pine and hardwoods, natural and constructed wetlands, major tributaries feeding the Chesapeake Bay, an abundance of wildlife, and an advanced research facility.
Future at the Baliles Center
The research lab, which is at the bottom left, is the structure currently under construction.
As fundraising efforts allow, the Baliles Center “camp area” will include:
- Student residential units
- Faculty
- Visitors
- Dining facility
- Teaching spaces
