Spirit Week wouldn't be the same without the annual Oktoberfest Kickoff Bonfire, where Longwood's history is revealed through stories from Dean of Students Larry Robertson and special alumni guests. Held on Stubbs Mall, students sip piping hot apple cider as they are transported back in time to find out why Longwood traditions are so special.
Bring your friends, a blanket to sit on, and get ready for a great time.
If it rains, the bonfire will be moved into Jarman.
