Monday, January 20, 20208:30AM - Monday, January 20, 20205:00PM
At First Floor Lounge, Upchurch
Organized by
Office of Multicultural Affairs
As so eloquently stated by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Anyone can be great because anyone can serve!” What better way to celebrate his memory and his mission than by engaging in community service? The Service Challenge provides an opportunity for the Longwood community to experience the holiday as a "day on" and not a day off. We challenge faculty, staff and students to CELEBRATE Dr. King's words by giving back to the community on this day of service.
The event will take place Monday, January 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the First Floor Lounge of Upchurch University Center. For those interested, there is an option to serve longer. Prepare for a full day of service to kick off Longwood's MLK Celebration Week!
