Moonlight Showing and Discussion, Feb 11, 2020 Bedford 111 6:00 PM

Understanding that one can learn in many different ways, this program will encourage students to analyze and watch the movie Moonlight. A movie that was made to address the problems of Homophobia in the community but more specifically the black community. After watching the movie there will be a brief discussion about the issues and perspective it presents to its audience. This program also encourages members of the LGBT+ community to share their experiences by giving their perspective on how the movie captures the accuracy of being who they are in the community they most identify with.
