Welcome back! We hope you had a restful and productive break, and that your semester is off to a good start. Read on for information about the Center for Academic Enrichment’s schedule for the next few weeks, and a list of programs and events that you’ll see later on this semester. Most programs and events will take place via Zoom.

Starting this week

Join CAFE for pomodoro sessions again this semester. All faculty and staff are welcome. The sessions use a focused cycle: set a goal, work towards it for 25 minutes, and then take a five-minute break. You will repeat the cycle three times. Choose the session that fits your needs:

Research Writing Session: Tuesdays, 8:30-10:30am, via Zoom with Adam Franssen,

Work Session: Fridays, 1:00-2:30pm via Zoom with Laura Jimenez and Pam Tracy,

Join us for a short meditation. You can meditate in the CAFE Lounge (Allen 310), or from your office or home via Zoom. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:00-12:15,

The Dynamic Learning Dialogue is an early to mid-semester evaluation technique that provides instructors with rich qualitative feedback from their students regarding the learning environment in a course. This feedback can be used for focused reflections on all aspects of teaching. Interested instructors should email; spaces are limited.
