Virginia Children’s Book Festival October 11-13

Hip Hop, Horses, Double Dutch, and more!

The Virginia Children’s Book Festival, the premier literary event for young people on the East Coast, is celebrating its 10^th anniversary this year. The Festival will occur on Longwood’s campus October 11-13, 2023.

Featured authors will include Elana K. Arnold, Lamar Giles, Meg Medina, RJ Palacio, and many more.

Students from across the Commonwealth will be on campus for the festival with Pre K- Middle School programming on Wednesday, Pre K- Young Adult on Thursday, and Middle School- Young Adult on Friday. For the full schedule, see https://www.vachildrensbookfestival.org/
