The Materiel Management & Purchasing Department is transitioning to the Office of Procurement Services.
As a result, our website is undergoing an overhaul. Please bear with us as we work on getting our page up to date. If you can't find the information you're looking for, please reach out to any of our Buyers and we'll be glad to assist you.
The Longwood University Office of Procurement Services is responsible for all procurement for the university in compliance with the Governing Rules (pdf), the Procurement Manual for Institutions of Higher Education and Their Vendors (pdf) and applicable sections of the Virginia Public Procurement Act, and the CPSM for construction and professional services.
The Office of Procurement Services makes sure that happens – and, where possible, implements cost-saving strategies such as group buying and negotiated pricing.
Of course, controlling and reducing procurement costs goes a long way (the University buys a lot of goods and services!) toward helping keep tuition and other student costs as low as possible.
The Office of Procurement Services is located in Eason Hall, located on High Street between Grainger and Jarman Halls.
