About Assessment
AIR supports Longwood’s ongoing and systematic assessment for continuous improvement while fostering a culture of assessment by
- Facilitating program/service review and assessments;
- Coordinating the university-wide assessment activities to ensure the activities are aligned with the accountability requirements or standards developed by SACS, SCHEV, and various specialized professional accrediting agencies;
- Supporting the campus-wide utilization of the institution's assessment and planning report system;
- Enabling faculty/staff to develop leadership in assessment through collegial planning, professional opportunities, and collaborative research;
