WORK STUDY

I. PURPOSE 

The purpose of this policy is to establish responsible maximum weekly hours that eligible students may work under the Federal Work Study Program.

II. POLICY

The maximum allowable hours for work study assignments at Longwood University will be in agreement with the current Federal requirements for work study. Normally, students will not be scheduled to work more than twenty (20) hours per week. Individual exceptions will be reviewed and coordinated by the Work Experience Coordinator and the individual budget director.
