Participation Numbers

The Division of Student Affairs at Longwood University is committed to sustaining an environment that offers a comprehensive array of student learning opportunities. Student Affairs values tracking participation numbers at its programs because this information helps student affairs professionals and the students with whom they work with decide how to provide quality educational and entertainment programming that meets the needs of the Longwood student.


2005-2006

  • International Student Orientation: 13 Students
  • Transfer student Honor Orientation: 90 students
  • Honor Convocation: 950 Students
  • 3 presentations by Honor Board Members at Longwood Freshmen Seminar:  approximately 20 students in each class
  • Director participation in Freshmen Seminar Panel: approximately 100 students
  • 1 Greek Risk Management presentation by Director: 10 students
  • 2 class presentations: 30 students

 

2004-2005

  • International Student Orientation: 15 Students
  • Transfer student Honor Orientation: 80 students
  • Honor Convocation: 950 Students
  • 6 presentations by Honor Board Members at Longwood Freshmen Seminar:  approximately 20 students in each class
  • 4 presentations by Judicial Board Members in the Residence Halls: 12-15 residents at each presentation
  • 2 Greek Risk Management presentations by Director: 30-40 students at each presentation
