FOCUSED PRODUCTIVITY SESSIONS
Join CAFE for pomodoro sessions again this semester. All faculty and staff are welcome. The sessions use a focused cycle: set a goal, work towards it for 25 minutes, and then take a five-minute break.

CAFE’S PRE-SPRING SEMESTER SYMPOSIUM ON COLLABORATIVE LEARNING
Date: January 3-4, 2024 from ~9am-3pm; January 5 from 9am-noon.
Location: Zoom
Please save the date for CAFE’s annual pre-spring semester symposium series! CAFE consultants, staff, DEC staff, and graduate faculty will present a variety of tools for teaching and fostering collaborative learning. January 3rd and 4th will feature 90-minute session that will include helpful tools for instructors, as well as time to work on your courses/assignments, applying what you just learned. On January 5th, join Dr. Renee Gutierrez in Allen Hall for her popular “Planning a Productive Semester” workshop from 9am-noon to get your spring semester off to a fast start. Feel free to attend one session or all.

HOW CHEATABLE IS YOUR FINAL EXAM? (AND TIPS FOR REVISION)

As we head into the home stretch of the semester, it’s time to put the finishing touches on our final exams. This session is designed to help participants work through some ideas to ensure that the written portion of their final exam is framed in such a way that AI tools will not be helpful to students.

SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE SIGNATURE PROGRAM @ LONGWOOD

Join the 7 Habits @ Longwood team on November 16-17, 2023 as we explore 7 Habits, 7 Principles, and several strategies for a more effective and meaningful life.
