Learn key strategies for a productive and restorative summer, and work through a proven process to set your calendar. For more details, please click the registration link above.
If this is your first time, or you want a refresher on the principles, please come or Zoom in at 1:00pm.
If you are a returning workshop participant and want to get right to work, please come or Zoom in at 1:45pm.
PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO WORKING SESSION
Facilitator: Adam Franssen
Time: Tuesday, May 23rd 9:00-11:00am
Location: Allen 308 (CAFE Classroom) or via Zoom: https://longwood-edu.zoom.us/j/95464645307
This 2-hour session is time designated for all tenure track faculty to write their professional portfolios in community, using Francesco Cirillo’s famed pomodoro technique. CAFE provides space, snacks, and stress relief items. A CAFE staff member will also be present to discuss important dates, portfolio components, rhetorical techniques, and answer questions with the goal of helping develop an effective portfolio. At the end of this workshop, faculty should be able to:
- Show and discuss their progress developing their professional portfolios for promotion and/or tenure
- Have a plan for completion of their work by the due date this fall
Thank you and best wishes for a rejuvenating break!
