Join CAFE to plan your summer. We’ll follow Kerry Anne Rockquemore’s process for crafting a summer schedule to meet all of our needs, both for work and home. You’ll have time to reflect on the past year, brainstorm a list of projects, and then schedule your work and your relaxation. The event is hosted both on line and in person, and all faculty and staff are welcome.
PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO PLANNING AND WORK SESSION

This session is designated for all tenure-track faculty, librarians, as well as continuing clinical educators and lecturers. To start the workshop, we’ll briefly go over the requirements of a portfolio, discuss the various audiences that will be reading your portfolio, and then look at an example. The rest of the time will be dedicated to working on your own documents in community using the Pomodoro technique. CAFE provides space, snacks, and stress-relieve items. Additionally, a CAFE staff member will be present to consult if participants would like to discuss their writing, formatting, or to work past other obstacles to completion of their work.
