Do you have an assignment that you think might need some work? Perhaps students have performed poorly in the past and you’d like to improve their outcomes. Or maybe you’ve created something new for this semester and would like another set of eyes to look it over. Come to this workshop to get feedback on your assignment from colleagues! Taking inspiration from the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NIOLA), our charrettes are a structured format where we use collaborative peer-review to help develop/revise intentionally-designed assignments with student outcomes in mind.

In the world of academia, we write all the time for varying purposes and audiences. But how often do you write for yourself? In what ways might writing be used for your own mental fitness? Is it possible for your workplace writing to take you beyond the confines of an often rigid, professional space? Join us for a thoughtful discussion about Y-O-U, and we’ll think together about engaging in some much needed self-care through an exercise you’re already good at.
