In an effort to better manage required maintenance across all customer instances, Canvas is implementing regular Canvas maintenance windows beginning July 15, 2021. These two-hour windows will be scheduled for the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:05am to 3:05am EST.
Although the windows are two hours each, Canvas does not expect users will experience downtime for more than a few minutes. Status updates are provided to users who subscribe to updates via the status page and searching for the name of their Canvas account. Users can also view the date for upcoming planned maintenance by navigating to their Canvas Account Settings page and looking in the Time Zone field.
