Keep Up With Canvas

Stay up to date to make the most of Canvas’s evolving features and improvements!

Canvas regularly publishes release notes to keep users informed about new features, enhancements, and bug fixes within the Learning Management System (LMS). Each update includes details about when changes will appear in the production environment, which features are automatically enabled, and which may require administrator action. Release notes also outline resolved issues, identify who is affected by each update (such as instructors, students, or admins), and preview upcoming tools currently in development and open for feedback.

Also hosted on the Instructure Community site, The Product Blog shares updates, feature spotlights, and insights into the evolution of Canvas and its related tools. Stay connected through these blogs to learn what’s new and what’s next for Canvas and Instructure’s product ecosystem.

Lastly, the Instructure Roadmap is a visual summary of the company's product direction and priorities, maintained by its product teams and available on the Instructure Community. It provides information on upcoming features, projects currently in development, and features that have been completed for Instructure.
