As part of our commitment to supporting faculty who use technology for teaching and learning, the DEC is pleased to offer our new support initiative to campus: Video Production Services.  Through this support model, DEC staff are able to collaborate with faculty to ensure intended course outcomes are met, while still providing a wide range of customizable video production setups.  Lead times are variable for such projects, so reach out to the DEC today to discuss any additional considerations for Video Projects. 

Lightboard Studio

The DEC's state of the art Lightboard and Video Recording Studio is now fully operational and available for faculty!  Reservations are "first come first served" and can be made through our Solomon website or by emailing the DEC. While Lightboard technology is relatively new to higher education as a whole, the techniques instructors use for recording videos in-studio are tried and true.  Watch the video below to learn more about Lightboard applications for teaching and learning at Longwood University!
