Longwood University’s Safe Drinking Water Program complies with 40CFR 141.

Longwood University’s Main Campus’ water is supplied by Town of Farmville municipal water supply. Town of Farmville provides an Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. Other Longwood owned properties are tested annually when required by Virginia Department of Health Office of Drinking Water.

Annually, water samples are collected at each Longwood owned property which has its drinking water supplied by a private well, and the site meets criteria set by Virginia Department of Health, Office of Drinking Water. Water samples are tested at the Town of Farmville Water Plant or other certified drinking water laboratory. If the test results are not satisfactory the well is treated per VDH Office of Drinking Water recommendations and retested.

    • Archaeology Field School – Clover, VA
    • Baliles Center – Montross, VA
