- Hard Hats - Longwood University EH&S is standardizing to Type E hard hats (Class I or II) for electrical protection. Hard Hats come in Type I or II (the II adds lateral protection) and class C, G, or E:

- G=2,200 volt protection
- E=20,000 volt protection
