Human Resources is excited to announce a new hiring process for Student Employment. Some of you are familiar with the application Hirezon for faculty/staff recruitment. Now we will be utilizing Hirezon for students. This is an electronic process for hiring students. Effective immediately please visit How To Hire A Student Worker If you do not have access to “Onboarding/Contracts” when you login to Hirezon you will need to be given access. REMINDER: Students cannot work without prior authorization from Student Employment, including students who are already employed in another student position in a different department.

E-Verify Notice

After accepting employment, new hires are required to complete an I-9 form and present documentation of their identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Effective June 1, 2011, Longwood University will use the E-Verify system to confirm identity and work authorization.

 

Web Time Entry Notice

Effective June 25, 2017 all student employees will begin submitting their work time by web-time entry through the MyLongwood Employee Self Service site. There is a 'Time Sheet' link under the 'Employee' tab within this site. In addition, all employees will be switched to a bi-weekly pay period.
