HRIS which is also known as (HRMS) Human Resource Management Systems, is the intersection of human resources and information technology through human resource software and databases. The electronic systems that are utilized within human resources provide a process, information, and a methodology for the human resource employees to be able to provide service and relative HR information to Longwood University employees.
The systems and applications that are currently utilized by Longwood University Human Resources are:
Banner HR - Human Resource data and reporting system
PMIS - Commonwealth of Virginia Personnel Management System
DHRM HurMan - Commonwealth of Virginia human resources reporting tool
BES - Benefits eligibility System
Cardinal - Future Payroll System that will replace CIPPS
Equifax - I-9/E-verify application system for employment eligibility verification
RMS - Recruitment Management System and reporting
Docfinity - Employee personnel files and future electronic HR forms that will replace the Vitdocs repository application.
